Ungh... I really liked doing the hair, face, flowers and the headdress. Doing the backround was fun because it was something new, but the time I got to her clothes I was totally bored and couldnīt think of anything reasonable. So those are kinda... blah. And... the colorscheme is all wroooong... But the blue little flute sure is great isnīt it.
Focus on the flowers people, flowers.

This is absolutely beautiful. I wonder why I haven't bumped on your work before?

The level of detail is wonderful at best, and I like the patterns you've used a lot. I particularly like the flowers in the headdress. The coloring also seems very successful, and the semi-transparent style you've done the hair is nothing short of amazing. You're clearly someone who knows how to use her watercolors.

Moving from the pros to the cons, the facial features are a bit odd, and the right arm of the character is slightly longer than the left one. It's not easily noticeable at first due to the shoulder being clearly in the background, but looks somewhat weird nevertheless. The lower parts of her sleeves are also a bit strange, though otherwise the cloths fold almost perfectly. I don't think the clothes' design is so bad either.

This is... Wow. I'm really quite overwhelmed by the excellence of this piece! The wonderful textures and designs... I can't imagine for the life of me how you could have done that! It's amazing! I love her long, flowing hair and the dreamlike beauty of the piece. The concept, coloration, and details work together so wonderfully.

Fabulous job! :boogie:

This is a really amazing picture. There's so much feeling and depth to it, I haven't seen anything this good in awhile, and I with there was more out there like this. The coloring in fantastic. All the small details are really what makes it stand out.
You should be very proud of yourself. It's just amazing!

Don't forget about the people who are suffering.
Iraq. East Timor. Darfur. Myanmar. Haiti. Pakistan.
Just because they stopped showing it on the news does not mean it's stopped happening.

Thanks for the fav  I used quite ruff acidfree watercolorpaper, wich gives the texture. Personally, I fell in love with way Copics show on it. You should see the skin irl. ^^
